Illegal dumping in Yuma County is epidemic. There are many problem areas around the county that require attention and the problem continues to grow. No sooner is an area cleaned up than there is new dumping occurring the next week, or even day. I am supporting legislation that will toughen penalties for illegal dumping, and supporting a public outreach that will get the word out to turn public attention to the issue and public opinion to report illegal dumping.
